PhiloMonaco

Alongside philosophers Robert Maggiori, Raphael Zagury-Orly and Joseph Cohen, Charlotte Casiraghi co-founded PhiloMonaco in 2015, an association whose ambition is to promote philosophy through the organisation of numerous conferences and workshops, as well as several prizes awarded by a prestigious jury.

By organising a series of monthly conferences and workshops, by inviting leading figures of contemporary philosophy as it is developed today in France and across Europe, by engaging schoolchildren and high school students and giving them the opportunity to hear voices that amplify the essential work of their teachers, by choosing themes of reflection to which no one can claim indifference, and by offering the widest possible audience original, innovative and accessible analyses, PhiloMonaco aims to become one of the most significant platforms for the creation, communication and sharing of philosophy today.

PhiloMonaco seeks to create a unique “space” in which philosophy can feel at home, a space that offers hospitality to French and international thinkers who contribute to its vitality through their research, while welcoming a broad public to whom philosophy provides essential tools for understanding the world, society, others and oneself.
